Please read this form carefully. This form is intended to assist you in selecting a cat that bests suits you, your family and your lifestyle. All applicable information on the application must be completed. Incomplete applications may cause a delay and/or non-approval of your application. Must be at least 21 yrs. of age to apply. Please note that as part of our review process, all references will be contacted and verified. We recommend you contact your vets office to inform them that Friends of the Plymouth Pound will be contacting them for medical information about your pets. Many vets will not disclose this information without your consent. In some instances, a pre-adoption home visit may also be conducted. Only those applicants approved to adopt will be contacted. Please note that due to the liability, we do not adopt to families with children under 7 years of age.

There is a $150 adoption fee, which helps defray the cost of vet care for the animals in our rescue program. Please understand that cats need vet care throughout their lives such as annual exams, booster shots, flea/tick preventatives, so please consider this financial expense when thinking adoption. :
